Job Summary: 

They are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team. The primary focus of this role will be managing and processing credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Credit Card Management:

  • Process and reconcile credit card transactions.
  • Monitor and verify credit card statements for accuracy.
  • Ensure timely payment of credit card bills.
  • Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to credit card transactions

Accounts Payable Duties:

  • Review and verify invoices and check requests.
  • Sort, code, and match invoices.
  • Set invoices up for payment.
  • Track expenses and process expense reports.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
  • Assist with month-end closing.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all credit card transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare reports and summaries of credit card activities for management review

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and credit card processing systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
