Base Salary $90k-$110k + commission

Position Summary

Working closely with the President – Passenger Charter, the Director, Private Jets will lead the launch and development of the newly created Private Jet Brokerage Division in the US, as part of the UK parent company’s strategic expansion of its US subsidiary. They will serve as the leader of the division, working alongside key stakeholders to build the Private Jet Charter division, positioning it as a trusted, high-end client-driven brokerage within the Private Charter Aviation Sector.

The Director, Private Jets will function as both a visionary strategist and a hands-on operator, ensuring the division achieves commercial success while upholding the parent group’s brand values, service excellence, and governance standards. The role is ideal for an aviation professional with a good network, proven track record in sales, and an expert understanding of on-demand charter operations, both within the United States and internationally.

Summary

  • Establish the new Private Jet Brokerage Division as a profitable and reputable market entrant.
  • Manage high-value client relationships, source aircraft, negotiate contracts, and ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop a regional strategy aligned with the parent company’s long-term international expansion plan.
  • Must have a proven track record for sales and willing to develop their own client portfolio

Key Responsibilities

  • Align the division’s goals and milestones with the parent group’s strategic roadmap.
  • Build and lead go-to-market strategies that strengthen brand visibility.
  • Design and implement the division’s systems, and procedures in line with group protocols.
  • Ensure all charter brokerage activities meet aviation regulatory, legal, and insurance standards.
  • Work with the HR department in the recruitment of key personnel and create a structure that supports growth and scalability
  • Report regularly to the group’s senior management team on progress, risks, and strategic adjustments.
  • Build a high-performance culture grounded in excellence, integrity, and discretion.
  • Promote collaboration with other divisions to create cross-selling opportunities and shared value.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales targets while maintaining high client satisfaction and ensuring customer retention

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Private Jet Charter
  • Proven success of leading a high-performance team.
  • Strong network in the U.S. private aviation sector (operators, brokers, UHNW clientele) and a comprehensive understanding of private jet brokerage operations, regulatory frameworks, and client management.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Part 135 operations.
  • Familiar with aviation software platforms, such as Avinode or FlightAware.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the different types of charter (On-demand, Membership Programs or Fractional Ownership models)
  • Excellent book of business or high-level industry network is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional relationship management and negotiation capabilities.
  • Global mindset and adaptability to diverse cultural and regulatory environments.
  • Hands on salesperson with the vision and capability to build a successful team.
